The Pike Company
Founded in 1873 in Rochester by John Barnabas Pike as a general contracting firm. Today, The Pike Company provides a wide range of construction services throughout the Northeast, including general construction, design-build, construction management, and facility services. The firm is active in several market sectors, including industrial, higher education, correctional, power, and commercial.

The Pike Company is a fifth-generation family business. Thomas F. Judson Jr., great-grandson of the company founder, is chairman and CEO and his wife, Ebets, serves on the Board of Advisors. Their son, Rufus, and son-in-law, Mauricio Riveros, are members of the firm’s senior management team.

The company employs approximately 475 people.

Thomas Judson, company chairman and CEO, serves on numerous local boards: he is chairman of the Center for Governmental Research; vice chairman of the Council on Governing Board of Independent Colleges; and is incoming chairman of the local United Way Campaign. The Pike Company and Judson Foundation support several local charitable organizations as well.
