Diamond Packaging
Founded in 1911 as a maker of folding cartons for the garment and bakery industries in the Rochester area. Today, the company manufactures paperboard packaging products and provides contract packaging services for businesses around the globe.Diamond Packaging is a two-generation family firm. Harry Voss, who purchased the business in 1973, is retired. His daughters, Karla Fichter (chairman) and Kirsten Werner (president), took over ownership this year.
Diamond Packaging employs approximately 225 people.
The firm has supported several charitable organizations, including the United Way, Strong Museum and alternatives for Battered Women. It also sponsors events supporting organizations, including the Zotos Walking Team, which benefits the March of Dimes, and the Annual Junger Invitational Tournament for Wishes, which benefits the Make A Wish Foundation.
