Delta Sonic Car Wash Systems Inc.
Delta Sonic was founded in 1967 in Niagara Falls by Ronald
Benderson as a company providing “tunnel” style car washes to
motorists in Western New York. In the last three decades, the
company has expanded to include automotive detailing shops,gasoline sales, convenience stores and oil change services.
Today, Delta Sonic operates 27 car wash locations in Buffalo, Rochester, Syracuse, Erie, PA, and Chicago and employs approximately 2,500 people. A 28th Delta Sonic location is currently under construction.
Delta Sonic is a second generation family business which today is run by Ronald Benderson and his son, Brett.
The company has since its inception placed a priority on employee development, offering a training program that translates into high levels of customer service. An incentive program rewards employees for years of service and job performance.
Delta Sonic supports various charities in the Buffalo area, including Children’s Hospital, Roswell Park Cancer Institute, the Greater Buffalo Chapter of the American Red Cross, the American Lung Association and Variety Kids Telethon.
