Founded in 1915 in Rochester to transact business in high grade municipal, railroad, and industrial bonds and trade in local securities. Over the last 90 years, Sage Rutty and Company has continued to grow and prosper. The securities firm provides clients with financial planning, retirement, and estate planning assistance.Sage Rutty and Company is a fourth generation family business. Wayne F Holly, a third generation family member, is president and chief operating officer. His father, William F. Holly, served as company chairman until his retirement last year. Members of the fourth generation work on a part-time basis and are enrolled in collee full time.
The company has 45 employees at its headquarters in Henrietta, NY, and a branch office in Greece, NY.
Sage Rutty and Company supports a number of Rochester area charitable organizations, including the Rochester Philharmonic Orchestra, The United Way/Red Cross Campaign, Literacy Volunteers of America - Rochester, Inc., the Greater Rochester Partnership for the Elderly and the Rochester Alzheimer's Assocation.
